Posted May 06, 2015

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) earlier this week announced that the West Coast Trade Symposium, with a focus on “Advancing Trade Through Partnership and Enforcement,” will be held in Tacoma, Washington, on May 27, 2015.

A Federal Register notice states that the symposium “will feature panel discussions involving agency personnel, members of the trade community, and other government agencies, on the agency’s role in international trade initiatives and programs.”

Key trade topics covered include: CBP Trade Vision; Single Window; Exports; One U.S. Government at the Border; and Trade Enforcement. Click here for additional information on the symposium.

Note: Registration for the event is already fullly booked, but companies interested in attending can still register to be placed on a waiting list by clicking here. CBP will also be holding an East Coast in the Washington, DC area later this year, but a date and location has yet to be announced.
