Customs Notice 15-012 - Follow-up Notice to the Public Works and Government Services Canada’s Cheque Standardization Initiative

As announced in Customs Notice (15-004), for cheques issued by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to commercial importers and customs brokers with respect to the new standardized cheque format, there could be instances where commercial importers or their customs brokers will receive a cheque where the amount does not match the amount indicated on the Detail Adjustment Statement (DAS) received in the mail.
