China Trade Surplus at Record High in January

China’s trade surplus rises to a record high in January as imports plunge, figures from the customs office showed Sunday.

The trade surplus came in at $60 billion in January, more than the $48.20 billion expected by economists. In December, the surplus was at $49.61 billion. This larger than the record high surplus of $54.4 billion recorded in November and marked a new high. Click here to read more.
