China’s Forwarders Face Strong Growth Challenge

China is set for continuing annual growth rates of 7-8% over the next decade and its freight forwarders need to strengthen their international cooperation and establish closer international relationships as the country introduces more free-market policies to promote international forwarding, a key government official said this week.

Lv Jijian, Deputy Director of Trade in Services for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce told the 11th annual Sino International Freight Forwarders Conference that the country’s political leaders fully appreciated the importance of the logistics industry for China’s future.  Read more here.
