New York Could Lose JFK Freight

If the USA’s New York governor Andrew Cuomo gets his way, the air cargo industry in and around Kennedy International Airport will relocate to a new regional distribution hub at Stewart International Airport, some 60 miles north in the Hudson Valley town of Newburgh, NY.

About 600 air freight forwarders whose business depends on the all-cargo and belly hold traffic that moves in and out of the airport would be affected.  Read more here.
