POSITION: Client Relations Representative
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
LOCATION: Winnipeg, MB (Head Office) or Work From Home opportunity. Must be located in Western Canada (MB, SK, AB, or BC).
START DATE: January 2022 or earlier, dependent on the applicant

This exciting opportunity is available at our Winnipeg location or a remote Work From Home opportunity. We are currently adding to our team and seeking a Client Relations Representative. Reporting to the VP, Canadian Operations, the responsibilities will include:
Job Summary: The main responsibilities are building and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Account Profitability Assessments
- Client Intimacy / Internal Assessments
- Client Problem Resolution / Day-to-day Client Care
- Client Reporting Requests
- Client Retention
- Client visits/MARPS
- Creating Standard Operating Procedures
- Cross selling other GHY services to clients
- Customer Audits
- Database Management and Review
- Penalty Analysis
- Sales Assistance with Prospect Accounts / Onboarding
- Other duties as required
Education
- Completion of Grade 12 Education
- Certified Customs Specialist Designation
- Enrolment in Certified Trade Compliance Specialist courses
Experience:
10+ years of related experience
- US Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Designation
- US Customs Broker License (LCB) preferred
Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Detailed oriented and logical individual with the ability to make objective business decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional client service skills
- Experience with ITMR4
- Knowledge of Customs rules and regulations
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Recognize OGD’s and impacts of OGD’s at time of release
- Tolerance to adversity and the capability to handle stress in a positive manner
- Understanding of tariff classification, GIR’s and explanatory notes
- Work within tight deadlines
