Statement of reasons concerning the initiation of an investigation into the dumping of certain corrosion-resistant steel sheet from China, Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei), India and South Korea.

Memorandum D11-4-20: Procedures for Verifications of Origin Under a Free Trade Agreement

Customs Notice 18-12: Coasting Trade Vessels Leaving Canadian Waters
As of the beginning of August, a coasting trade licence will no longer be cancelled by the CBSA when a vessel leaves Canadian waters, unless the vessel has completed the activity for which the licence was issued or if the authorized dates indicated on the licence have passed.

Customs Notice 18-11: Grace Period for Late Accounting Penalty (LAP) Related to Surtax
In view of the recent surtax that came into effect at the beginning of July, CBSA has decided to provide for a 10 day grace period (LAP waiver) for LAPs that were issued with respect to transactions on which surtax was applied and released between July 1 2018 and July 10 2018 inclusively. The notice provides instructions on how to request such a waiver.

Customs Notice 18-10: Edmundston, New Brunswick
Notification that the highway sufferance warehouse at the port of Edmundston, New Brunswick closed effective July 31, 2018, without being replaced by another operator.

CSWP3 2018 IN: Carbon Steel Welded Pipe
Statutory notification that CBSA has initiated an investigation pursuant to SIMA of the alleged injurious dumping of certain carbon steel welded pipe from Pakistan, the Philippines, Turkey and Vietnam, following a complaint filed by Montreal-based Novamerican Steel Inc.

COR 2018 IN: Corrosion-Resistant Steel Sheet
Statutory notification that CBSA has initiated an investigation pursuant to SIMA of the alleged injurious dumping of certain corrosion-resistant steel sheet from China, Taiwan, India and South Korea, following a complaint filed by ArcelorMittal Dofasco G.P. and backed by Stelco Inc.

RR-2017-004: Hot-Rolled Carbon Steel Plate
Following an expiry review pursuant to SIMA of a 2013 order concerning the dumping of certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy plate originating in or exported from China, the CITT has decided to continue its order.

PI-2018-005: Corrosion-Resistant Steel Sheet
Notification that the CITT has initiated a preliminary injury inquiry pursuant to SIMA to determine whether the evidence reasonably suggests that alleged dumping of certain corrosion-resistant steel sheet products originating in or exported from China, Taiwan, India and South Korea, has caused injury or is threatening to cause harm to domestic producers.

NQ-2017-005: Dry Wheat Pasta
Notice of a finding made by the CITT pursuant to SIMA which determined that the dumping and subsidizing of all dry wheat-based pasta originating in or exported from Turkey has caused or is threatening to cause injury to domestic producers.

PI-2018-002: Cold-Rolled Steel
Statutory notice that the CITT has initiated a preliminary injury inquiry pursuant to SIMA to determine whether the evidence discloses a reasonable indication that the dumping and subsidizing of certain carbon cold-rolled steel products (excluding certain goods enumerated in the notice) originating in or exported from China, South Korea, and Vietnam have caused injury or are threatening to harm domestic industry.

Statutory notice that the CITT has initiated a preliminary injury inquiry pursuant to SIMA to determine whether the evidence discloses a reasonable indication that the dumping and subsidizing of certain carbon steel welded pipe originating in or exported from Pakistan, the Philippines, Turkey and Vietnam have caused injury or are threatening to harm domestic industry.
