CTPP

Signed on March 8, 2018, the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) is a trade agreement between Canada and 10 Asia-Pacific countries: Australia, Brunei, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam. Total imports by Canada from the first five countries to join the Agreement grew by 11.3% between 2018 and 2021. The largest growth came in apparel and motor vehicles and parts

Chile officially notified its ratification of the Agreement on December 23, 2022, becoming the ninth country to do so. The Agreement will be fully implemented once Brunei announces its ratification.
