Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland is hosting a pair of Mexican dignitaries who will hold key cabinet portfolios once their country’s incoming government take power.
Freeland and International Trade Minister Jim Carr will sit down for bilateral meetings in Ottawa today with Mexico’s future foreign affairs minister Marcelo Ebrard and economy minister Graciela Marquez.
The meetings come just a few weeks after Canada, Mexico and the United States agreed to an updated North American free trade pact. [...]
