Flight delays, Cancellations at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport May Last Two Weeks after Radar Facility Fir

Massive flight delays and cancellations at one of the nation’s busiest airports could last for up to two weeks as the feds scramble to repair a key radar facility torched by a suicidal worker.

On Sunday, more than 700 flights in and out Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport were canceled, bringing the number of scrubbed flights to 2,000 since Friday’s sabotage. The FAA said the damaged radar facility in Aurora, Ill., won’t be fully operational until Oct. 13. Read more here.
