President Trump signed another “Buy American and Hire American” executive order Thursday to prioritize USA-made materials in federally-financed infrastructure projects.
Trump previously signed an executive order in April 2017 to encourage federal agencies to purchase US-made iron, steel and manufactured goods. The second order will close loopholes and ensure that any infrastructure project receiving indirect federal financial assistance also prioritizes USA-made goods.
