The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has posted an announcement introducing a newly enhanced Withhold Release Orders (WROs) and Findings Dashboard. This online tool helps users quickly find and track CBP’s enforcement actions against products made with forced labor in real-time, covering cases from 1950 to the present.

How the Dashboard Is Updated

The CBP Forced Labor Dashboard is updated regularly whenever new WROs or Findings are issued or changed. When CBP adds, changes, or cancels an order, the dashboard is quickly updated to show the latest information.

What Are WROs and Findings?

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issues a WRO when there is reasonable suspicion that goods were made with forced labor. Under a WRO, those goods can be detained at all U.S. ports until the importer can prove they were not made using forced labor.

A Finding is issued when CBP has conclusive evidence that goods were made with forced labor. This allows CBP to seize the goods.

The CBP Forced Labor Dashboard provides data and statistics on both WROs and Findings, showing which industries and products are affected.
