CBP Schedules Training Webinars for New Forced Labor Portal

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will launch the Forced Labor Portal in January 2026. The Portal provides a central system for submitting review requests related to forced labor enforcement, including Withhold Release Orders, Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act applicability and exception requests, and CAATSA exception requests. All detained or excluded shipments requiring review must be submitted through this Portal. CBP will conduct three webinars to train users on its functionalities.

  • Session 1: Tuesday, January 13, 2026 – 11:00 a.m. EST – Webinar Link
  • Session 2: Wednesday, January 14, 2026 – 1:00 p.m. EST – Webinar Link
  • Session 3: Thursday, January 15, 2026 – 1:00 p.m. EST – Webinar Link

Registration: Importers must register using the CBP-provided link.

Submission Requirements

  • Shipments detained or excluded under forced labor enforcement must be submitted through the Forced Labor Portal.
  • Reviews will be conducted by the applicable port of entry or Center of Excellence and Expertise.
