xpiry reviews are conducted jointly by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) to review Special Import Measures Act (SIMA) orders and findings to determine whether the measure will be rescinded or continued.

Line Pipe 2 (Dumping | South Korea)

CITT in conjunction with the CBSA, concluded on September 6, 2023 an expiry review of the Line pipe 2 SIMA case currently in Force. As a result of the investigation, the CITT will continue its finding, and importers will continue to pay anti-dumping duties on goods subject to this case.

Importers are reminded that, if using the services of a customs broker to clear their importations, the brokerage firm should be advised whether the goods are or are not subject to anti-dumping and countervailing duties and be provided with sufficient information necessary to clear the shipments.

Complete details regarding CITT’s decision are available here.

Full details regarding the CBSA’s expiry review determination are available here.
